This class is highly interactive to build self-confidence. All my classes involve physical warm-ups to release inhibitions creating a safe and fun environment. This is a space where there are no judgments and you are free to enjoy your creativity and imagination as much as possible. No experience necessary! The first class will be an introduction to acting. I'll introduce the Meisner technique, (an acting repetition technique), and the skill of Cold Reading using commercial and scene scripts. The second class will be focused on Character and Script Analysis using scenes. During this lesson, students will learn how to create their characters while analyzing scenes by applying acting methods and techniques. In the third class, students will break down the stages of a monologue. Students will learn what a monologue is and how it is best performed. There will also be Questions and Answers regarding Acting, Auditions, and Industry for the last 10 minutes
